Ox Bonding Announces New Program for Contractors

March 22, 2011

Miami, FL Contractor Credit Program: Getting America’s Contractors Back to Work! Ox Bonding introduced today a new program designed to put America’s contractors back to work:  the Contractor Credit Program.   The current economic environment is the toughest America’s contractors have faced in generations.   While construction spending is at historic lows, banks and surety companies have made it more difficult to get access to credit and bonding lines, making it even harder for contractors to secure the few jobs that are available.

Ox Bonding is here to help.  Our Contractor Credit Program is designed for the hard-working contractor who has been cut off from the standard surety bond market and who no longer can access a credit line.  Our program provides bid, payment and performance bonds, as well as working capital advances, to contractors who are enrolled.

While many surety companies look mainly at a contractor’s financial position and credit score when underwriting, at Ox Bonding we believe we have a better and fairer way of evaluating a contractor.  To us, the contractor’s character, experience and ability to complete a project is more important than his balance sheet.  As we like to say, “At Ox Bonding, we underwrite character, not a credit score.”

Many contractors find just applying for a bond or credit line a time-consuming and difficult process with no guarantee of being approved.  We know a contractor’s time is valuable, so we’ve made enrolling easy with our short Contractor Credit Program Enrollment form.  Once enrolled in the program, the contractor has access to bid, payment and performance bonds, working capital advances, bill pay services and much more.  Requests for additional bonds or working capital can be processed in days not weeks.
